We are a HF Holidays and Rambling Association affiliated club.
Our aims are to promote the healthy enjoyment of group leisure, the love of the open air and encourage friendships by means of group rambling.

In other words, meet people, get fit and have some fun while enjoying our wonderful countryside all year round

 

About Us

 

Our walks are mainly in the Lake District, Lancashire and Yorkshire.

We provide coach travel starting at Heysham Towers and picking up at several points along the way in Morecambe, Torrisholme, Lancaster, Slyne, Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth.

At the end of each walk there is the opportunity to grab a pint or coffee and cake before returning on the coach to your pickup point.

We also operate a social group coach for those who also enjoy a good day out and holidays for those that like a few days away.

When do we walk?

We walk alternate weekends (some Saturdays and some Sundays) and alternate Wednesdays.

Our Wednesday walks are easy walking of 4, 6 or 8 miles, whereas, our weekend walks are more challenging.

 

When is our social group coach?

Monthly on Wednesdays (on a non walking week)
