Further Information

What should I take with me on the walk?

 

Strong footwear, warm clothing, waterproofs, map, compass, whistle, torch, survival bag, personal first aid kit / medication and adequate FOOD AND DRINK are essential on a day's ramble.

Covid

Please do not attend any walks or trips if you have or suspect you have Covid.

Cancellations

You must contact the Coach Secretary if you have to cancel your booking (this also applies on the morning of the ramble/trip).

Weekend Walk cancellations - members who cancel after the Monday before the Weekend Walk pay half fare.

Wednesday Walk cancellations - members who cancel after the Friday before the Wednesday Walk pay half fare.

Members who cancel within 24 hours of a walk pay full fare.

Guests (Coach fare to be paid)

Guests residing locally may be introduced on one ramble.

Non-resident friends may be introduced at any time subject to seat availability.

Club Rules

The Club and Leaders will not accept responsibility for personal accident or injury to anyone participating in Club events.

Members shall walk with, or behind the leaders or as required by the leader.

Members may only leave the party if unwell and ONLY after discussion with the leader and MUST be accompanied.

Children are allowed on rambles under parental or guardian supervision and at the discretion of the Membership Secretary.

Dogs are not permitted on the coach.

Annual membership fees

 

Subscription fees are payable on joining and 1st January thereafter.

Adults:        £10 per year.

Under 16s:  £1 per year.

Coach fares

Weekend walking coach £15 per walk. Under 16s £7.50.

Wednesday walking coach £13 per walk. Under 16s £7.50.

 

Social coach £17 per trip plus the cost of the attraction where applicable.
