Loch Awe near Oban
Monday 30th September to Friday 4th October 2024

For our Autumn 2024 break we have arranged a visit to Loch Awe, 21 miles from Oban staying at the Loch Awe Hotel, a Lochs and Glens package holiday. The hotel looks out on the side of the Loch.

There are 3 excursions included in the holiday which are briefly as follows:

 

Oban  -  is known as the gateway to the Isles, with its mists that roll in from the sea and the hills that overlook the bay

 

Cruachan Power Station and Inverrary - Situated on the shores of Loch Awe lying deep with in Ben Cruachan is one of the country's most engineering achievements, at its centre lies a massive cavern high enough to house the Tower of London

 

Visit to the Isle of Mull -  Enjoy a cruise from Tobermory into the sound of Mull - Mull boasts sandy beaches and stunning scenery. It is one of the most iconic harbours in Scotland

 

We will still be offering 3 walks per day for the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, but you would be more than welcome to come and enjoy the holiday and not walk.

 

The cost is £450 per person, for a twin or double room, unfortunately the limited number of single rooms are all booked

 

Lochs and Glens are advising all passengers have travel insurance. If you do not have any it can be purchased from Lochs and Glens for £18.

The costs include bed, breakfast and dinner for 4 nights, packed lunches for 3 days and all transport and excursions.
