Next Wednesday Walk 22nd May ending at Rivington

Our next Wednesday walks are circular starting and ending in Rivington:

The A walk will be led by Linda and is approximately 7.8 miles and just under 1200 feet.

We will start at The Rivington and walk round Yarrow reservoir, then make our way towards Rivington Barn towards the tower. We should see the Japanese gardens before climbing the steps up to Rivington Pike. Descent is through fields back into the wood to make our way to the Castle, then walking along lower Rivington reservoir shore back to our start point.

The B walk will be led by Sylvia and is approximately 6 miles and 500 feet. (including 2 hills)

A circular walk, we will go through woods and fields and see four reservoirs, with good views of the moors. 

 

The C walk will be led by Bert and is approximately 4 miles. 

A circular walk around Yarrow Reservoir.
