Walks ending at Ingelton 23rd November 2025

The A walk will be led by Bob and is 9.7 miles and 2000 feet.

Starting from Cowan Bridge, we follow the quiet hill road to Leck Fell House, with an easy gradient and good views. A steeper section passing "The Three Men of Gragareth" leads to the summit (627m). The way down (SW) follows a long wall, turning off near Marble Steps Pot, and taking paths by Tow Scar to the Kingsdale road and field paths into Ingleton. 

The B walk will be led by Lesley and is approx 7-8 miles and 524 feet ascent/1087 feet descent.

Starting at Ribblehead and going along the Dales Way and Pennine Journey up and over Twisleton Scar on undulating paths and no stiles?!  Down the zig zag path to Scar End and onto Oddies Lane into Ingleton.

The C walk will be led by Jeff and is 6 miles and 720 feet ascent/1020 feet descent. 3 step stiles.

Start at Hurtle Pot in Chaple-le-Dale turning right at St. Leonards church with a short steep climb to reach Gill Head. Here we turn left onto a moorland path above Twisleton Scar until reaching the Scar End. From here we start a steep descent down to Twisleton Hall before carrying on to Beezley Farm where we access farm land before reaching Oddies Lane and carrying on back into Ingleton.
